LSG Gov. Novelito B. Ybañez

Mr. Novelito B. Ybañez leads the students in the College of Agriculture. He is the Governor of the Local Student Government of the College of Agriculture.

Novelito B. Ybañez, the new CA Governor, and Lloyd S. Catubay, former University Student Government President, both fourth year Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Animal Science students successfully completed the 5th Virtual Summer Course Program hosted by the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The said summer course was held from July 22 to August 5, 2021.

The theme of summer course program is “Livestock, Agriculture and Tourism: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Environmental-Friendly Development.”  They joined participants from Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, India, East Timor, South Korea, China and Vietnam. All the delegates share common interest in animal science, agriculture, and working with farmers and tourism. Moreover, the Animal Science majors attended lectures from prestigious professors and experts, learned Bahasa Indonesia and became familiar with the local blend of Indonesian multi-cultures and joined the virtual tour of the rural livestock and agricultural activities in Indonesia.  The Certificate of Completion was awarded to the students last August 22, 2021.
