Marc Joshua P. Padua, a third-year BS Agriculture major in Animal Science of USM and owner of Kuneho de Padua (rabbit farm) located at Barangay Ilomavis, Kidapawan City was recently awarded the 2021 Outstanding Young Farmer for Gawad Saka Provincial Level held on August 5, 2021 during the Provincial 4H and VLAP Convention Day at the Provincial Capitol Gym, Brgy. Amas, Kidapawan City. He will represent the Cotabato Province in the regional level of the competition.
The Department of Agriculture sponsors the annual national Gawad Saka activity which recognizes farmers, fisherfolk, as well as distinguished groups and individuals, who have made significant contributions in the development of agriculture and fishery sector.
Padua received a certificate as Outstanding Young Farmer for Gawad Saka Provincial Level last August 5, 2021.
