Novelito B. Ybañez, the governor of the CA-Local Student Government, was selected as the official delegate to the 2021 Asian Association of Agricultural Colleges and Universities (AAACU) eStudy Tour Program hosted by Nagoya University of Japan from September 3-24, 2021.
The program aimed to foster a deeper understanding of cutting-edge agricultural technology and management practices, facilitate sharing of agricultural knowledge and practices among AAACU member countries, and introduce Japanese culture and technologies to Asian undergraduate agricultural students. Lectures and workshops on Forest Science and Technology, Applied bioscience/bioindustry/food processing, Agronomy/Plant science in Japan, Animal science/Animal husbandry were presented during the program.
Mr. Ybañez is one of the 29 undergraduate agricultural students who participated the said program. He was selected to represent the member country based on academic performance, particularly in the field of agricultural sciences .
Novelito B. Ybañez is a fourth year BS Agriculture major in Animal Science student. He leads the students in the College of Agriculture serving as Governor of the CA-Local Student Government.
